Welding using stick electrode |
Fixate stick electrode to the table and weld |
Arrange the pieces so that they do not fall down |
CREATING A SMALL BASKET USING STAINLESH STEEL MESH |
1. Using copper plate, weld the cylindrical part |
2. Weld some points to create the cylinder
|
3. Using a copper plate, create a subsidiary electrode |
4. Weld the base part |
5. The finished view of a stainless steel mesh basket. |
NOTE: To prevent disjunction, please be careful on selecting the electrodes and the current used.

[ IMPORTANT ]
Welding with stainless steel mesh requires control of welding voltage. |
|
WELDING WITH STAINLESS STEEL PLATE |
Make a cylinder from a stainless steel plate as shown in the picture. In this picture, stainless steel plate 0.3 mm in thickness was used.
|
NOW PRINTING
@1. Cut the stainless plate in the width needed for welding, and then coil it around a cylinder with 20-30% smaller diameter to create the shape. |
Pinch with it welding pinset and then weld

Since stainless fiber has a thickness of micron-scale, it is easily disjointed with a high welding current. Thus it is important to select carefully the current and the electrodes used. |
