Q 1 Point of Electrode sometimes welding itself to the object such as Nickel tubu
|
A1 In this case, Heat will be comes from the resistance of the nickel tub. Other wise, if the point of electrode's heat is not splead quickly, electrode will be welded itself. |
Q2 I welded the tab to the battery, but it will come off if I apply force. |
A2 In this case, it can be solved by making a cut in the nickel tab. Please refer to the page about welding the battery tab. |
Q3 When welding 0.2 mm stainless steel wire, it melts down |
A3 In case of using HSW - 01A, add HSW - PC 1 and adjust the voltage. In HSW-02A, turn the pulse - width adjustment potentiometer counterclockwise to shorten the energization time. DETAIL |
Q4 Sparks may jump at the time of welding and the sound may be large |
A4 Sparks may jump if the electrode pressing pressure is insufficient. |
Q5 The tip of the welding pen was oxidized and worn out |
A5 Please polish the tip with sandpaper about 400. If the tip is heavily damaged, please format it with a file. |
Q6Can I weld copper or aluminum? |
A6 Welding is difficult for copper and aluminum because of low electrical resistance and low heat generation. Still thin sheets (foil) and thin wires are possible. |
Q7 Can a 30V power supply be connected to increase welding strength? |
A7 You can't. Using a supply voltage higher than 24 VDC. leads to destruction of the control element inside the welding machine even if it is 1V UP. |
